Time For a Christmas Blog Break! #timeoffblogging #blogbreak

I have decided to take a break from blogging over Christmas.

The reason for my sudden break announcement is partly Christmas related and partly because I have been blessed with a FAB new idea for a writing project.

At a time of great stress in my personal life (husband made redundant a few weeks ago) this idea decided to turn up on my creative doorstep, searching for its forever home.

For the FIRST TIME EVER I want to welcome it inside and shut the door on the outside world over Christmas. I want to lose myself in it, after wrapping presents and pulling crackers.

Readers who have been with me on my blogging journey for a few years will know nothing has come between my blog and I. No matter what happens I always blog.

But, this idea feels like it could be special. Ideas like this don’t come along very often and I have always promised myself that for the big things I would embrace them fully.

My fictional series Roxy is in a good place, so I am going to leave her alone for a bit, loving life with her new boyfriend and at the some time trying to save Great Aunt Vera from being charged with murder.

I will be back on my blog soon.

I will still be co-hosting U.K. RomChat on Twitter on a Monday evening between 8-9pm (U.K. time) so you can catch me there if you fancy talking romantic fiction.

Have a wonderful Christmas and all the best for 2019 x

  1. Intriguing info there about something new and special, Lucy. Really hope it pans out for you. Strange time of year for stompingly good ideas, but hey, they are always welcome!
